Harmony & Unity Lodge #8451
Founded in 1972
Introduction to Harmony & Unity Lodge
Our Lodge is a bit unique in the History of West Kent.
Harmony & Unity Lodge was consecrated in October 1972. BUT the Province of West Kent was not Consecrated until 1973 when the Province of Kent was separated into East and West. Rt W Bro Baron Cornwallis PGM of Kent held office as PGM of West Kent until 1975!
We are proud to be celebrating our 50th Year as a Masonic Lodge in the Province of West Kent in October 2022, we are a lodge full of traditions, history and have an active social calendar.
We have a great links to a sister Scottish Lodge, St Andrews 215 to where we pilgrim each year to watch and celebrate the installation of a new Master.
We are always looking for new members to join us to help us go from strength to strength.
Please contact using the form on the contact us page, we would love to hear from you.
Freemasons use four important guiding principles to help define their path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity.
Integrity
Freemasons are focused on building themselves as people of integrity and membership provides the structure to help achieve that goal.
Friendship
Freemasonry provides the common foundation for friendships between members, many of which will last for life.
Respect
Freemasonry brings people together irrespective of their race, religion or any other perceived differences that can divide us as a society.
Charity
Kindness and charitable giving are deeply ingrained within the principles of Freemasonry and the organisation provides the structure for members to make positive contributions to their communities and various causes.
